Watch out, moms and dads, the students of Grades 7 and 8 at Vedh Valley World School are officially ready to plan your family budget now! Armed with calculators, creativity, and a serious sense of money-smarts, our young financial planners dove headfirst into two super engaging projects: "Family Budget" and "Evolution of Money." From figuring out the difference between a "need" and a "want", to mastering income, expenses, and savings, students built their very own sample budgets like true pint-sized economists. But the fun didn't stop there! They then hopped aboard a time machine to trace the incredible journey of money, starting with the ancient barter system, rolling through shiny coins and paper currency, and zooming all the way up to plastic money and today's tap-and-go digital payments. With buzzing enthusiasm, sharp research, creative presentations, and a whole lot of teamwork, our students turned textbook concepts into real-life understanding,building confidence, critical thinking, and responsible money habits along the way. At Vedh Valley World School, we believe financial literacy isn't just something you study, it's a life skill you live. And our students just proved they're ready to plan wisely today and build a brilliantly secure tomorrow!

We are delighted to share a glimpse of our grade 6 students Financial Literacy Activity, where learning came alive through an engaging role-play on Traditional Banking and Modern Digital Banking. Our students did a wonderful job portraying different characters and situations. The boys beautifully presented the traditional banking system, demonstrating how banking involved forms, passbooks, signatures, queues, cash transactions and personal interaction with bank staff. The girls then took us into the modern digital world, showcasing mobile banking, QR codes, UPI payments, digital receipts and the convenience of cashless transactions. What makes this activity truly special is that the children did not simply learn about financial literacy—they experienced it through acting, teamwork and practical situations. They developed confidence, communication skills, collaboration, creativity and a better understanding of how banking has evolved over time. A special appreciation to each and every child for their enthusiasm, preparation and wonderful performance. Every role contributed to making this activity meaningful and memorable. We are extremely proud to see our young learners learning by doing, expressing themselves confidently and connecting classroom concepts with real life.
Our little word wizards from Ruby and Sapphire put their spelling skills to test in an exciting Spell Bee! From tricky words to confident answers, the children showed great concentration, enthusiasm, and vocabulary power. With every correctly spelled word, the confidence grew—and so did the smiles! A day full of words and alphabets ended with Ruby winning the competition.

It was devotion, joy and dhol beats all around as our little stars of Grade 3 brought Bappa home with their special assembly on Ganesh Chaturthi! The air was filled with energy as the assembly kicked off with loud and cheerful chants of 'Ganapati Bappa Morya!' Our respected Principal Ma'am added grace and auspiciousness to the celebration with the traditional Ganapati Sthapana. What followed was a beautiful bouquet of performances straight from the heart. The soulful Ganesh Aarti set the divine tone, followed by confident speeches where our young speakers explained why we celebrate Bappa's birthday with so much love. The dance group stole the show with their energetic moves, while the choir's sweet Ganesh song had everyone humming along. The cherry on the cake was a cute and meaningful skit by the students, which reminded us that Bappa teaches us wisdom, kindness and to remove obstacles with a smile. The celebration concluded with a warm vote of thanks and everyone's favourite part - Prasad distribution! It was truly a morning filled with bhakti, masti and learning - just the way Bappa likes it!
Our little chatterboxes were all set to show, tell, and steal the spotlight! From favourite toys to special treasures, every child came armed with an object and, of course, a story that simply had to be told! Some spoke like seasoned presenters, while others needed a little encouragement to let their inner storyteller shine. The classroom soon turned into a mini talk show—with curious questions, excited expressions, giggles, and a few “Can I tell one more thing?” moments! The activity was not just about bringing something from home; it was about speaking confidently, listening patiently, expressing ideas, and enjoying the joy of sharing. प्रिय अभिभावक, अगर आपका बच्चा अब “I’m hungry” के बजाय कहे—“मुझे भूख लगी है, पेट में चूहे कूद रहे हैं!” तो समझ जाइए, हिंदी दिवस की सीख घर तक पहुँच चुकी है। वेध वैली वर्ल्ड स्कूल में हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर कक्षा 4 के विद्यार्थियों ने भाषण, गीत, कविताओं, कहानियों और नाटक के माध्यम से हिंदी के प्रति अपने प्रेम और आत्मविश्वास को अभिव्यक्त किया। दीप प्रज्वलन और माँ सरस्वती की वंदना से शुरू हुई यह सभा बच्चों की मेहनत, उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास की सुंदर झलक बनी। उनकी प्रस्तुतियों में हिंदी के प्रति प्रेम के साथ-साथ उनकी रचनात्मकता और अभिव्यक्ति भी साफ दिखाई दी। मुहावरों ने भाषा में रंग भरा, पेट में चूहे कूदना, मुँह में पानी आना, नाक में दम करना और नौ दो ग्यारह होना जैसे मुहावरों ने बच्चों को भाषा को रोचक और प्रभावशाली बनाना सिखाया। व्याकरण ने भी उन्हें सही शब्दों और सही वाक्यों के साथ अपनी बात प्रभावी ढंग से रखना सिखाया। ‘डरो मत, हम जीतेंगे!’ नाटक ने बच्चों को परीक्षा के डर से आगे बढ़कर मेहनत करने, हिम्मत रखने और स्वयं पर विश्वास करने का संदेश दिया। वेध वैली वर्ल्ड स्कूल ने इस हिंदी दिवस के मंच से बच्चों को न केवल हिंदी की सुंदरता और समृद्ध साहित्यिक विरासत से परिचित कराया, बल्कि अपनी बात आत्मविश्वास से रखना, भावनाओं को शब्द देना, मिलकर काम करना, मंच की झिझक दूर करना और चुनौतियों का हिम्मत से सामना करना भी सिखाया। प्रेमचंद और महादेवी वर्मा जैसे साहित्यकारों से परिचय ने बच्चों की हिंदी के प्रति रुचि बढ़ाई, वहीं कविता, कहानी और नाटक ने उनकी अभिव्यक्ति, रचनात्मकता, सुनने की क्षमता और आत्मविश्वास को और मजबूत किया। क्योंकि वेध वैली वर्ल्ड स्कूल में सीख केवल किताबों तक नहीं रुकती,वह बच्चों की सोच, शब्दों और व्यवहार में दिखाई देती है। हिंदी के शब्द, बच्चों के हौसले,दोनों इस दिन खूब खिले!
Our little explorers of Senior KG enjoyed an unforgettable visit to the Fire Station, where learning came alive. They explored the mighty fire engine, discovered fascinating firefighting equipment, and met our brave firefighters. The children were thrilled to see how firefighters gear up to save the day—our little ones even looked ready for their own superhero mission! Through this hands-on experience, they learned important fire-safety lessons and gained a deeper appreciation for the courageous work of firefighters. It was a day packed with curiosity, discovery, laughter, and happy little memories!

Our little Junior KG explorers had a blooming wonderful time at the nursery! With curious eyes and tiny hands, they explored colourful flowers, collected leaves and enjoyed a fun hands-on activity. From “Wow!” to “Look what I found!”, the nursery was filled with excitement, giggles and little discoveries. Who knew nature could be this much fun?
Our Grade 3 students had a fantastic visit to the Science Park in Pimpri-Chinchwad , where learning came alive with a sprinkle of fun and a lot of “Wow!” moments! From exciting models to fascinating experiments , every corner sparked curiosity and bright smiles. The children explored, observed, questioned, and discovered that science is not just in textbooks—it is everywhere! At the Planetarium, they were amazed by the beautiful display of stars , planets , and galaxies . Their curious questions and cheerful excitement made the visit truly memorable. It was a joyful experience filled with learning, exploration, discovery, and dreams beyond the world around them!

Our little explorers headed to Decathlon, Pune, for an exciting day of learning beyond the classroom. And let’s be honest—when children hear “field trip,” even an ordinary morning suddenly feels like a holiday! The children got an opportunity to explore a wide variety of sports and sports equipment. From football, basketball, badminton, tennis, swimming, cycling, and skating to many more, there was something to catch every little athlete’s attention. They observed the equipment, learned about its uses, and discovered that there is a whole world of sports waiting to be explored! There were questions, wide-eyed expressions, enthusiastic discussions, and, of course, plenty of “Ma’am, look at this!” moments! The excitement levels were definitely higher than the volume of the teachers’ voices! The children also enjoyed a fun creative activity with the painting books gifted by Decathlon, giving our little artists a chance to relax and let their imagination run wild. By the end of the trip, we had happy faces, tired little feet, curious minds, and lots of wonderful memories! One thing is certain—Grade 1 didn’t just visit Decathlon… they turned their field trip into a sporting adventure filled with learning, laughter, and fun!
Our Grade 4 students had a fun-filled and laughter-packed field trip to the R.K. Laxman Museum, where learning met creativity and humour at every turn! As they stepped into the world of the legendary cartoonist R.K. Laxman, students explored his iconic cartoons, sketches, illustrations and memorabilia. They soon discovered that a cartoon can make you think, smile and sometimes even laugh out loud—all with just a few lines! The visit gave students a glimpse into the sharp observational skills and clever sense of humour that made R.K. Laxman’s work so special. They learned how ordinary moments from everyday life can become extraordinary stories when viewed through a creative lens. The trip not only encouraged observation, imagination and creativity, but also left our young learners with plenty of smiles, giggles and new ideas.
The students of Grade 7 of Vedh Valley School, had a delightful visit to the Parle-G Biscuit Factory in Vadgaon. They got an exciting glimpse of how their favourite biscuits are made, baked and packed. The children eagerly observed the process and asked many questions. They were particularly amused and delighted to discover that the biscuits are made using flour and palm oil! The teachers, too, enjoyed watching the children’s innocent excitement and cheerful banter, especially during the fun-filled bus ride. It was a joyful learning experience that left everyone smiling—and perhaps craving a packet of Parle-G!
On 20.08.26, our Grade 6 students reported to the Dr. Balasaheb Devras Aviation Gallery for a field trip. They left with career goals. The gallery had planes. The students had opinions. Within minutes, every aircraft was judged for speed, comfort, and whether it had Wi-Fi. Some career confusion? Cleared. Some future plans? Boarded. Some hopes? Landed. Who knows? Many years from now, we might hear, “This is your captain speaking,” and discover that the voice belongs to one of our Grade 6 students!

Our little explorers headed to Someshwarwadi, Pune, in the early morning hours for a day of learning—but, of course, learning is always better when there’s less sitting and more exploring! The children discovered village life, observed the surroundings, and connected their classroom lessons to the real world. There were questions, excitement, giggles, and enough curiosity to keep the teachers on their toes! And then came the Someshwar Mahadev Temple—the cherry on the cake! - A beautiful and historical temple that added a special touch to our adventure. By the end of the day, we had tired feet, happy hearts, curious minds, and memories to last a long time! One thing is certain: Grade 2 didn’t just take a field trip… they took their learning on a joyride!
Mathematics came alive through innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning as the Grade 6 students of Vedh Valley World School showcased their talents during the Mathematics Exhibition 2026–27. Through interactive models, engaging games, and creative displays, students demonstrated that mathematics is an exciting subject that can be explored and enjoyed. The exhibition featured impressive models of the New Parliament Building and the School, along with innovative exhibits such as Measurement Park, Geometry Park, Fraction City, Kaleidoscope, and the Mirror & Reflection Box, each highlighting mathematical concepts in a practical and engaging way. Visitors also enjoyed a variety of Math Games and Puzzles that promoted logical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The exhibition was a wonderful celebration of curiosity and experiential learning, providing students with an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge, present their ideas confidently, and inspire everyone to appreciate the beauty and relevance of mathematics in everyday life. The Grade 6 Science Exhibition 2026–27 showcased the creativity, curiosity, and scientific skills of our young learners. Students confidently presented innovative working models, including Hydraulic Bridge, Hydraulic Lift, Hydroelectricity Generator, Biogas Plant, Rainwater Harvesting, Sprinkler & Drip Irrigation System, Earthquake Alarm System, Japanese Earthquake-Resistant Building, Natural Calamities, Radar System, Fun with Magnets, and Telescope – Beyond the Earth. The exhibition provided students with an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-life situations while developing confidence, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Parents and visitors appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and presentations, making the event a memorable celebration of experiential learning and scientific innovation. Students also showcased their scientific and practical skills by designing and constructing rain gauges and wind vanes using simple materials. These activities helped them understand weather monitoring techniques while encouraging innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving. Kaushal Vikas 2026–27 was a meaningful celebration of experiential learning, creativity, and skill development. At Vedh Valley World School, Culinary Skills is not measured in cups and spoons. It is measured in giggles, in shared secrets, in the pride of a first taste. We began with something simple — clean hands and careful hearts. Then came the stories. Grandparents’ voices came alive as children learned to make homemade Amla Mukhwas, the same way it was made decades ago in their kitchens. In that moment, a recipe became a bridge between generations. And then, the magic. Fireless cold cakes. No flames, but so much warmth. Little hands choosing ingredients, debating decorations, helping the child whose cake was crumbling. I watched them learn something no textbook can teach: That when you cook together, you also care together. Every eager first bite held more than flavor. It held responsibility. It held “You try mine, I’ll try yours.” It held respect for ingredients, for effort, for each other. Here, our children are discovering that the finest ingredient isn’t sugar or chocolate. It’s teamwork. It’s heart and love. The photographs below are not just pictures. They are proof that when young minds create together, they don’t just make food. They make memories.

This year, our Grade 5 Science Display is taking an exciting turn as students choose their own topics, forming balanced teams, and bringing their ideas to life. From exploring the Digestive System, Excretory System, Brain Structure, the Solar System, The Moon, and Eclipses, to designing working models of Windmills, Air Coolers, and Volcanoes, while investigating environmental issues like Acid Rain, our young learners are embracing science with remarkable confidence and creativity. We are immensely proud of our budding innovators, whose passion reminds us that tomorrow's scientists are already learning and inspiring within our classrooms today.
