Vedh Valley World School - journey so far...
We started in the year 2019 with the vision of Mrs. Nalini Sengupta to nurture holistic development for the students of today's generation.
Today as we reflect back on the 4 years we are proud of the rapid strides made in terms of the growth of the school not only in building of infrastructure but also in enabling all round development for the children.
CBSE Affiliation : We have our first batch of students getting into grade 8th from this academic year. We are currently in compliance with all the bylaws stated as part of the CBSE affiliation process .We are working towards getting the affiliation approved by the end of this academic year and would keep you informed as we progress
Ever increasing Infrastructure:
From a building of 3 floors and 450 students to 5 floors and 900 plus students is a good progress made.
Interactive Smart boards in the higher classes :
Smart boards have been installed in the grades from 6 onwards to make the teaching more effective and accurate, to enhance student understanding and engagement.
Science Lab :
Our Science lab is ready and would be functional for this academic year, giving our students a hands on experience and in exploring interest and techniques in science.
Infirmary :
Is equipped with all the necessary materials and facilities to address the health needs of the students . A qualified and experienced nurse is available on campus to manage and assess any health issues that may arise in the campus during the school hours. First aid and other emergency nursing measures is given to students who are injured or become ill while at school and records of the same have been maintained.
Last year, the infirmary did a commendable job in stopping the students from missing their classes. There were approximately 2800 students who visited the infirmary for their medical requirements and only about 300 were sent home.
